Given a verbal discription of a situation, students sketch a graph to model that situation.
Given a graph of a situation, students provide a written discription of that situation.
This graph shows Jet's journy from Fresno to San Francisco on his cool new motercycle!
When Jet starts his trip he travels 25 miles in 1 hour, before realizing that he needs to pick up the pace. So he then starts to accelerate and makes it another 50 miles in 1 more hour. OH NOOO a flat tire! Jet has to wait 1 hour for the repair man to come and fix his flat. He then decides that he should drive safely and continues his journey at a constant 25 miles per hour before finally making it to San Francisco! Home sweet home!

Reflection
The content I've added is a good resource for someone learning about this topic because it clearly demonstrates Jet's journey from Fresno to San Francisco.
Something interesting or new that I learned about this topic was that when its a distance over time graph and the line continues moving but the distance never incases, that means that the person is stopped.
